PERFECT FOR YOU: This week we show you how to do the Jubilee in red, white and blue

Posted on: June 1, 2012

It’s official! There’s no better time to be British….. this weekend is set to be one of the most memorable bank holidays with a celebration-tastic Diamond Jubilee. London looks positively regal with sumptuous flags flying down Regent Street, shop windows oozing British inspired displays and young and old carrying and wearing Union Jack bags, hats, umbrellas and t-shirts. Up and down the country landmarks have been draped, decorated and emblazoned with our national flag and you can’t move for an imitation tiara or bejeweled crown.

In keeping we’ve honoured the occasion by selecting each of our valued members with their very own Jubilee inspired outfit. We’ve hand picked the very best pieces fit for a right royal weekend of festivities featuring the perfect combination of red, white and blue tones.

Here are some of our favourites:

Street Party – we love this Topshop Union Jack sweater styled with  a pair of Warehouse KG by Kurt Geiger dramatic wedges  and a Jaeger bag perfect for a neighbourly social

Garden Party – the prettiest floral Joseph dress, a wisp of a Fabienne Delvigne hat, killer Yves Saint Laurent heels  and Alexander McQueen Union Jack clutch will looks sensational at the most traditional of parties

Summer Ball – this fairytale Ted Baker gown, Debut @ Debenhams clutch bag and Dorothy Perkins bow tie sandals is the perfect look to commemorative such a regal occasion…. in true royal style… just add diamonds

We wish you all a fun and happy Jubilee weekend….don’t forget to look at your edited personal picks in today’s email…. now we’re off to bake a Vicky sponge and hang bunting. Tara x
