Dressipi Blog

It’s amazing what pearls of wisdom you can stumble across over an early morning brew in your local coffee shop. I was enjoying my daily wake-up cappuccino just last week with my friend Deep Sahni who has opened an ultra stylish fashion-concept store, MOOI, on Abingdon Road. I was – of course – discussing Dressipi. When we source garments to feature on the site a lot of thought goes into finding the right pieces to suit each and every one of our users. We are constantly looking out for those hard to come by key pieces – like gorgeous designer dresses that don’t stop at a size 8. And ones that complement larger busts. We have a lot of users who constantly write in to us with just this problem, and simply cannot find that figure-flattering investment piece.

“Have you got Saloni?” said Deep, “they have one dress, the Apsara dress, that is just flying out of our shop. My customers, from a size 8 to a size 16, love it. It just seems to work perfectly for everyone. It’s also been cut in such a way that it drapes and flatters those who have a larger bust.” So, I did what any stylist on the prowl for a good fashion tip does and promptly got on the case with Selina to help get Saloni up and running on our site. And it is. Like any good dress that we recommend it’s all about versatility. Style this with a summery wedge, (these Chloe ones are on sale),  if you want to go for a casual weekend lunch and a woven tote in a wild shade like this new season piece from Michael Michael Kors. Come evening, add a killer heel – we’re loving these Ernesto Esposito numbers – and a statement clutch (Lulu Guinness) for a vampier mood. Now I leave it up to you to try it out. Natalie x
