LUST HAVES: Start mapping your route for VOGUE’s Fashion Night Out

Posted on: August 22, 2012

I once won an obscenely gorgeous pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. They are a patent boiled sweet red. Ridiculously high. Ridiculously gorgeous. Ridiculously perfect with most of my wardrobe. I was at the first ever VOGUE Fashion’s Night Out a few years back, in the Louboutin store on Mount street and won a lollipop competition. Instead of raffle tickets we got to purchase the chance of picking a lollipop buried in a tray. Whoever chose the lollipop with a tiny red strip on the stick won. That was me. Oh the joy when two hours later I finally decided which pair of shoes I wanted. And then it was off down Bond Street and Oxford street popping in and out of stores bumping into various fashion designers, enjoying lots of fun and frivolous fashion treats along the way as central London was turned into one big fabulous fashion fair. So this year I highly recommend if you have no plans for the 6th September make a mental, Blackberry or iPhone note to drop into something, anything at this next Fashion’s Night Out event. Have a look at their official website http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashions-night-out to see updates on what stores and brands and designers are doing what.

This year Fashion’s Night Out t-shirt has been designed by British designer Jonathan Saunders. They are £18 and proceeds from the sale go to the charity Refuge, which works with vulnerable children and women against domestic violence. The t-shirts will be available in blue or pink. See you there! Natalie x
