WARDROBE WONDERS: More sales must-haves and making your wardrobe work for you

Posted on: July 9, 2013

…and the sales’ boxes keep arriving in the office. Yesterday one of those deliveries from Matches.com arrived in those gorgeous mint green printed boxes of theirs only to open up and reveal these fabulously juicy summer tops…for Sarah. The hot hued silk blouse is by Rebecca Taylor. Sarah has been on the hunt for a beautiful silk blouse and the sales are always a very good time to invest in this perfect wardrobe must-have. Whilst the high street sometimes does some decent silk pieces as I say if you wait until the sales you will find a better made and better quality designer piece to stand the test of time. Also in the mix was one of Sarah’s Perfect For You t-shirts from her weekly email. This piece is by James Perse who really do fabulous jersey tops, bottoms and dresses and are also brilliant when it comes to finding those stylish basics for the men in your life.

Next season, the shapely silhouette of the 1940’s and those Hitchcock heroines will be filtering into your wardrobes – again. Which is why I have introduced this Sportmax black jersey-feel skirt into the mix. It’s easy to style up for an evening night with the silk blouse, a pair of vampy metallic Stuart Weitzman heels, some gorgeous Anton Heunis jewelled earrings and a go with anything McQ Alexander McQueen bag. Take the same skirt by day and add the t-shirt, some strappy Fendi wedges, this chic French blue Chloë satchel and have a bit of fun with this ASOS necklace. Natalie x
