STYLE ADVICE: How can I style my Jigsaw lace dress for a wedding?

Posted on: March 3, 2014

QUESTION: I need a bit of help with what to wear to a wedding with this Jigsaw dress and these Mary Portas for Clarks shoes which I bought. The wedding is in a barn but from the website, it looks like a pretty plush barn, so I think normal wedding wear will be fine. I did wonder about wearing a sparkly clip or something in my hair. I might run to a new bag and what should I wear in the way of a coat or jacket? I’m sure there is something you could do with the outfit to make it look a bit more modern?

ANSWER: You’ve chosen a gorgeous dress in one of the textures of the season. Here are a few items as requested that we hope you’ll love:

1. H&M, Coat £34.99:– This coat comes in a versatile blush shade, that works perfectly with the burgundy dress. It’s the ideal occasion coat with gorgeous shoulder detailing and a not too fussy finish that’s perfect with the lace.

2. Little Mistress, Clutch £25:– Metallics are all over the catwalk so snap up this gold box clutch to go with your outfit. The jewel clasp turns up the glam factor, and the boxy shape will keep your outfit modern:

3. Asos, Earrings £8.00:– I’m loving these Art Deco jewel earrings, they complement your clutch and are the only piece of jewellery you need to go with your dress:

4. The Collection, Clips £12:– These structural hair clips are a sleek  modern alternative to a fascinator and will look great with your short hair. SarahA x
