OUTFITS: How to wear your new season dresses

Posted on: March 5, 2015

Dresses have become as much a part of our casual capsule wardrobes as jeans and crisp white shirts, not to mention an all important evening must-have. If you’re travelling and need to pack light the dress is the perfect solution thanks to its dress-up, dress-down appeal. This season opt for fabulous bold colours and prints. Uniqlo has done a great range of pure silk shirt dresses, perfect for day. You could easily take this dress out to dinner with a strappy metallic sandal and jewelled chandelier earrings. Likewise, this ultra-chic print dress from Oscar de la Renta could very happily be styled down with a cool wedge and structured tote for a lunch al fresco. You’ll find a similar high street version here at Topshop for £150 in a stylish blue and white print. Whilst we do love a metallic clutch and heels for a gorgeous evening or occasion look, designers like Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo have some wild accessories in neon shades. Whilst these are out-there colours they will stand the test of time thanks to the more sleeker styles. Natalie x
