2015-06-24-2looks-SQ-1LOOK 1: 1. Saloni dress £555, 2. Rosie Olivia hat £395, 3. Monsoon bag £35, 4. Gianvito Rossi heels £476.98
When you find the right multi-tasking dress you’ld be amazed how far you can make those style miles go. For some unfathomable reason fabulous dresses with sleeves are really hard to come by. Funny thing that especially since so many women request these pieces for so many reasons: it cuts out the middle fashion man namely the jacket; sleeves add stylish cover to upper arms for those who wish to conceal them; they also give a bit more versatility to a dress taking it from evening to work for example whilst still being appropriate. This gorgeous blue fit-and-flare dress is perfect for that sleek ladylike look. It will skim over and disguise hips for those who so wish and it will also give the illusion of a fabulously defined waist with its chic play on proportions. Use your accessories to add textures and print to a block colour dress. When it comes to hats and bags go for variations on the same colour or a complete clash for a bit of fun.
2015-06-24-2looks-SQ-2LOOK 2 : 1. Michael Michael Kors dress £265, 2. Rosie Olivia hat £365, 3. Carvela by Kurt Geiger bag £69, 4. ASOS heels £45.
This is a great statement colour but it is toned down thanks to the elegant quieter style of this shift. Beaded textured accessories really give a great dimension to this piece and also help break up the postbox tone. Blend in neutrals with this dress when accessorising. ASOS has a fabulous collection of trend inspired footwear this season and these strappy heels give a perfect modern twist to this look. You can take either of these dress to work with a switch of accessories – a tote or hobo style bag and elegant court – as well as another evening event….just add metallic heels and statement jewellery.
