STYLE ADVICE: I am looking for a chic cover-up for this dress I have chosen to wear to a wedding.

QUESTION: I’m going to my brother’s wedding in Slovakia. I’ve already picked an outfit with turquoise dress, neutral heels and gold clutch (see attached picture) but because the wedding is in October I’ll need a blazer or jacket to go with it. Do you have any suggestions? My budget is around £50-£60.

ANSWER: Your wedding event sounds fabulous and a great time to be around family and friends looking gorgeous! Here are a few jacket options we hope you’ll love.

1. Mango jacket £59.99: Look for a piece that will work not only with your wedding outfit but also with other pieces in your wardrobe. An ivory jacket that has texture -such as a lightweight boucle – is ideal and a lot less harsh than black. This jacket has a wonderful crystal detail elevating your outfit to special occasion. Post wedding you can style this with jeans a pair of flats and cashmere jumper:

2. Topshop, Jacket £49: – Gentle tailoring will work a dream. Try this sleek 24/7 style from Topshop with its collarless finish and fluid structure. It has all the makings of a well tailored jacket with a more fashionable flare. This ivory is ideal for the occasion and other family functions to come.

3. H&M jacket £29.99: Combine texture with a gentle pattern in this tailored jacket. You can also style this over a black shift for work:

4. Mango faux-fur coat £69.99:Depending on how cold it is going to be you can channel this season’s catwalk trends for 2-in-1. Faux-fur cover ups are everywhere thanks to the 70s boho mood as well as the trend for all things warm and fuzzy. This piece is a timeless wardrobe must and will work perfectly with casual looks too:
