2016-08-26-one-look-RTHere’s something sharp and chic for the bank holiday weekend. It’s the perfect outfit for long lazy lunches, movie nights or just because you want to look and feel fabulous when you pop out for that weekend coffee or to go new season shopping. These sculpting high wasted jeans are ankle length which means they’ll really draw attention to these fabulous flats with a snakeskin print detail. Switch basic tees for a fluid blouse that will double up for your back-to-work looks. Topshop has these great quilted ‘puffa’ like bags that are the perfect weekend alternative to totes. I’m all for a bit of evening bling during the day and these Miu Miu earrings add a luxurious touch to any run-around look. Natalie x

Monochromatic gingham gives an easy-to-wear shirt dress a fabulous fashion update. This piece from Toast has a fuller skirt and a longer length, which means once you’ve cinched yourself in at the waist you’ll create that gorgeous retro silhouette which really belongs on the cobbled streets of Positano. Go for a contrast coloured platform sandal in one of the hit berry shades of the season and add a statement earring and oversized sunglasses. For a low-key look channel that librarian-chic charm and style your dress with patent brogues and a satchel bag. Natalie x

Snap up a statement jacket, whether it’s a wild and whacky print, a must-have animal print or one of the season’s updated denim jackets – think ripped, frayed, embellished and oversized. I bought this Zara animal print biker style the moment it hit the site. It’s fabulous. I am wearing it to breathe new season life into my little black dresses as well as using to vamp up my skinny jeans – great for a new take on airport chic. This print also clashes perfectly with contrast patterns. Cover-ups are definitely the new accessory for autumn/winter. Mind you, so are inspired-by-Gucci loafers. It all makes for a stylish update on an off duty weekend look. Natalie x

Having a go-to casual outfit takes the stress out of dressing. Break away from jeans and leggings with a dress. This piece with it’s gentle waist-accentuating detail will take you from day to night – if you want it to. Topshop has some great inexpensive trainers with a twist from sparkly embellishments to these gold tipped styles. It’s a fun way to dabble in the fashion-trainer trend if you haven’t already done so. A clean neutral palette gives a sophisticated edge to this low-key look. Natalie x

Give your summer pieces one last style spin before we start layering on the cardigans and scarves. Tops are a great way to give your wardrobes a colour or print update whilst  more low-key colours like greys and black will ‘glue’ looks together.  This gorgeous blue works wonders with pastels but it is also a good piece to contrast with darker neutrals. Add a bit of sparkle with your clutch or go for this quilted shoulder bag which also comes in a sharp shiny silver. Natalie x

Have a look in your wardrobe and dig out those denim jackets. It’s your best summer cover-up friend and blended into this look makes it perfect for day or night. This is a stylish midi length dress and that belt detail at the waist injects a bit of definition into your shape. Vamp things up with these neutral toned lace-up sandals. Mango has some great bags in at the moment and we are all swooning over this grey bow detail shoulder bag . It comes in black faux-leather too and doubles up as a clutch. Finish your look with a statement earring. Natalie x

There’s something about a blue sky, sunshine and an ice cold Coke! So this t-shirt at Topshop caught my eye. Speaking of Coca Cola, the most liked Instagram picture ever is Selena Gomez’s pic of herself sipping on her  Coke from a bottle personalised with her song lyrics. It’s on 5.2 million likes so far. Retro slogan tees are a fun way to do a sunshine look and this pop of red is perfect. Dress it up with a barely-there heel for lunching or dining al fresco. Natalie x
