Are we nearly there yet? I’m talking about cosy jumper weather. Any excuse to dress up in a warm winter bright. A knit in your favourite colour adds a highlight to your outfits. If you want to feel more ‘put together’ at the weekends style your denim looks with a run-around kitten heel and a statement earring. Natalie x

Sharpen up your looks with some of the season’s finest tailored pieces. Greys and checks were a key tailoring trend on the catwalk for autumn/winter and this single breasted jacket from H&M ticks all the boxes. A stylish grey v-neck jumper is the perfect wardrobe basic. This one from Uniqlo is in a soft cosy cashmere and M&S always does some great cashmere pieces. Go bold with your shoes…why not! Natalie x

2016-09-27-one-look-rtThere is something fabulously retro in feel about this black dress. Maybe it’s the higher neckline with the gathered details or the softer asymmetric skirt. It’s retro but with a very contemporary feel thanks to the looser relaxed fit. Add a belt for waist-cinching proportions and flat military boots and a bomber jacket for day. By night, jazz things up with a touch of leopard and lots of glitz. You might also like this little black dress update from Jigsaw £129. Natalie x

A little bit of tweed goes a long way, and this shift will take you from work day chic to weekend cool. You can, by the way, also find some fabulous lightweight tweed shift dresses at Zara a the moment. The frayed edge details means this dress goes from classic to contemporary in an instant. Style with a chic block heel court for work and add a touch of bling at the neck – if you cannot ‘over bling it’ in the office then a simple gold chain necklace will do the trick. Turn it up a notch for weekend looks with a trainer and a stud detail bag. Natalie x

Something small and sleek like this mini shoulder bag adds that perfect finishing touch and will take you from day to night. You couldn’t move for all the stylish fashion trainers at London week. Heels might have been tucked away in the latest Celine totes, but trainers were very much on-trend, sometimes just because it was a really good but mostly as they were a stylish way to navigate the shows…and there were a lot of shows to navigate. Converse gives a metallic update to their trusty All Stars and this pair is a great way to turn a body shaping Whistles dress into a day look. Natalie x

1.Whistles dress £150, 2. H&M jacket £19.99, 3. Miu Miu sunglasses £224, 4. See by Chloë bag £330, 5. Converse shoes £50

2016-09-16-one-look-RT.jpgThere is nothing quite as luxurious in look and feel the texture velvet. Update your cover-ups with a velvet jacket from tuxedo styles to trendy military inspired pieces. Velvet lends itself to deep wintry shades like burgundy or this dark green. It’s the perfect style pick me-up to a pair of jeans. Have fun with Zara’s lace camisole effect t-shirt. It’s a two-in-one take on the last trend of styling silky slip dresses over sportier tees. Natalie x
