Cobwebs never looked so chic, and when it comes to Halloween inspiration, just add lace. This Whistles dress will set the tone for the party season ahead and you can dress it up so many ways – from metallic heels and accessories for a shimmery effect, to autumnal jewel tones for something more retro. A colourful faux-fur jacket is the perfect casual weekend cover-up and it adds that extra special something to a glam evening look. Natalie x

2016-10-28-one-look-rtIsn’t it wonderful that coats this season can double up as duvets. Technically speaking it will feel as if you have never let the comfort of your own home. The chunkier, the cosier, the better. That goes for your knitwear too. Balance it all out with a slinky pair of skinny jeans and a burst of metallics. Throw in a pumpkin orange accessory in the spirit of Halloween. Natalie x

From a breton stripe at Zara to this neutral cable knit at M&S, the jumper dress is making style waves as one of the must-have winter warmer pieces. Look for versatile neutral shades in greys, black, navy or ivory. To give that casual but luxe feel opt for a tan suede finish when it comes to accessories. A stiletto heel vamps things up if you have a weekend lunch where you want to keep cosy but feel chic. For a cool run-around look add a shearling lined biker boot and shoulder bag. Natalie x

This Topshop dress also comes in a hot pink shade which you could style with a purple clutch or clash with a bright red bag which is all very next season. H&M does a great range of 100% leather accessories like these gold courts. Don’t forget the bling! Natalie x

One of the most popular shoe styles worn by the fashion pack in Paris during the spring/summer 2017 collections was the black Vans high top trainer, styled with everything from ladylike full midi-skirts to cool cropped frayed hem jeans. ASOS has an exclusive metallic gold pair which will give a turbo-boost to casual looks, like this long knit dress from Jigsaw. Now would be a good time to tackle the sumptuous velvet trend. Look for a day-to-night blazer as your new season cover-up. This belted Whistles’ jacket will shape up perfectly over this dress and any similar stretchy jersey styles. Natalie x

Let’s discuss over-the-knee boots. They may at first appear quite high maintenance, but there are so many great styles out there that they’re fast becoming the must-have fashion item of the season. Style with roomy loose fit dresses and tights for a casual day look, or slip over skinny jeans and either add a fine knit jumper or go for a contrasting volume in something chunky and oversized. This Mickey Mouse jumper from Uniqlo is a cute update to a basic weekend knit. The sleeker skinnier over-the-knee stretch boot is the perfect balance to all of those supersized, boxy statement coats or your favourite cosy parka. Natalie x

We’ve been on a boots buying frenzy in the office. Little black ankle boots to be precise. From Topshop to Isabel Marant we’ve just about got all of our respective style angles covered. This Claude Pierlot pair has a chic scalloped edge for a different take on a classic Chelsea style. Jeans’ lengths seem to be hovering around the ankle and with a straighter cut it means these styles will sit perfectly just above an ankle boot. Next on the hit list will no doubt be a scarf. Something bold and bright to introduce a new season mood. Look for a colour (if it is not a natural grey or black) that will work it’s way through your wardrobe and your favourite shades from week-to-weekend. Natalie x
