2017-12-07-One-look-RTLayer up for the winter weekends with sugary shades and cosy knits. These key pieces will stand the test of time over and over again. A little black suede ankle boot will work perfectly with a day dress and black opaque tights. Try styling this looser fit cashmere jumper with a midi length pleated skirt in a jewel toned velvet or a sparkly detailed mini skirt for a stylish take on the season’s skirt looks. Natalie x

Here’s one of those work looks you can ‘throw’ together and you just know that it will work each time. Start with a cosy v-neck cashmere jumper in navy. This is one of those wardrobe keepers. It will take you from work to weekend – just add skinny jeans and ankle boots – and it’s the type of piece that’s perfect to travel in if you want to give those onboard looks a luxe feel. Style with a pair of tailored grey wool trousers and use your accessories to give a personal twist. Go for a check scarf and animal-print clash combination …it’s the new way to do  prints this season and add a jewel tone bag. Natalie x

It’s good to see high street brands producing quality pieces that will stand the test of time. Who doesn’t love a grey day? This colour will multi-task its way through your wardrobe from bold brights to cool neutrals. Mango’s take on luxury comes in the shape of this single breasted wool coat. In terms of high street cashmere, personally I cannot fault M&S’s other than the fact that I wish they would do more pieces in simple basic colours. This cashmere dress will look fabulous with high heeled boots or Gucci-like platform sandals and lurex tights for a chic evening look, courts for work and a run around ankle boot for the weekend. Add a cosy hot pink with this oversized scarf from Joules. Natalie x

There’s nothing nicer than having a breather. So when you’re thinking about post-Christmas relaxation and New year’s day lounging about, look to your capsule wardrobe basics. The sales are a good time to invest in basics  especially if you’ve had your eye on any cashmere knits. Plain cashmere jumpers and cardis, perfect for layering and easy to style with versatile jersey tees, are just the thing when it comes to chic but casual looks to lounge about in. Trainers have become very much a part of a fashion wardrobe and I love the animal print on this pair from Reebok. Natalie x

No point in beating around the bush but as we’re now fully into the winter part of autumn/winter the only thing to do when it comes to outfits  is to cosy up in style. Checklist: comfy knits, shearling and faux-fur and sunglasses just because. In case you haven’t noticed…it seems impossible to read or watch anything without being bombarded with Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales updates. Sigh! That said, the key components of this outfit make up a list that is perfect to shop in the sales in general: cashmere, jeans, sunglasses, bags, shoes, coats and cover-ups. All versatile, timeless pieces. Natalie x

1.M&S cashmere jumper £129, 2. Topshop Bag £30, 3. Michael Kors sunglasses £182, 4. Oliver Bonas jeans £35, 5. Diesel faux-fur gilet £292.49, 6. Jigsaw boots £159

150310-1outfit-RTThere were a lot of low-key shades on the red carpets this awards season, some more successful than others. As we step into spring, chalky whites, nude tones, safari stone inspirations and whispers of grey will filter into your wardrobes from day to night.  You can go low-key neutral from head-to-toe and add touches of gold with your accessories and add texture with your shoes and bags. Bright colours are a fabulous bold contrast like this sunset orange jumper set-off against this nude tone skirt. Earthy textured details on shoes and bags (think straw, raffia, linen and canvas) add depth. Banana Republic is really working their magic with their handbag range this season and this piece will double up as a very chic beach bag. Have some fun with your sunglasses and go oversized and retro. For evening you could always borrow a look from one of those red-carpet stars or simply style with statement chandelier earrings and strappy stiletto sandals. Nothing low-key about that. Natalie x

1. Tom Ford sunglasses £255, 2. Chiniti & Parker jumper £325, 3. By Malene Birger skirt £123, 4. Banana Republic bag £49.50, 5. Zara shoes £29.99.

You can cosy up in your cashmere or you can give it the full fashion twist with slinky leather effect pencil skirts or hip-hop stud high-tops and slinky skinny jeans. What’s even better is that the high street has cottoned onto this luscious yarn and does some fabulous and affordable pieces. Keep it basic and simple so that you can get the maximum use out of your cashmeres for years to come. These knits are a lot less high maintenance than you think … I put mine in the washing machine on a gentle, delicate wash. Natalie x
