Have a look in your wardrobes. Is there a favourite shift dress – printed or not- that you love to wear to work or in the evening? Give it an occasion refresher with some of summer’s must-have accessories for an every day look. Espadrilles are everywhere from wedge sandals to flatform style trainers. I saw the pale pink version of these navy Superga’s on Snapchat and instantly fell in love. They’ll dress down a fabulous print shift but still keep you looking chic. Blend in a  pale pink leather bag for a touch of colour. This one is from COS and they have some great low key but luxe leather styles in store now. Cover-up in a simple capsule wardrobe basic – the denim jacket and add a touch of bling. Natalie x

In the spirit of crafts week, denim has become the new embroidery canvas slash patchwork cushion for fashion. From Stella McCartney to M&S whether it’s smiley face patches or embroidered flowers it’s the new way to wear your denim with a crafty twist. Here I’ve styled these Tophop jeans with one of H&M’s fluid silk blouses which you can also snap up in black. These tops are useful basics to have in your wardrobe. For a city-chic day look add a pair of black strappy heels or pointed courts and your carry-all tote. Don’t forget that an accessory like a simple chunky gold bracelet adds that final touch to any look. Natalie x

Taking direct inspiration from my own wardrobe double up your denim for a cool weekend look.  I wear my denim shirt + skinny jeans combo with a hint of animal print either with a belt I discovered I had and had not worn in a while or a printed clutch. Spice things up with a hot pink heel. I switch between a pair of silver and pink wedge sandals or a really slinky heeled pink ankle strap peep toe. It just adds an extra turbo boost to my weekend look – perfect for those lunches or children’s birthday parties (go to my instagram account and have a look if you don’t believe me!). I like to work my really plain and simple oversized clutches double time from day-to-night. If you have a moment take a stroll through Topshop’s Oxford Circus ground floor – they have so many incredible styles and colours, prints and patterns you’ll go clutch crazy. Natalie x

Freshen up wardrobes with one of the seasons’ pastels. They give an instant spring feel to looks. This jacket from Mango will also work double time with all those gorgeous white broiderie anglaise tops and summer dresses that will hit the stores in the months to come. Style with black accessories to give an edgy look. This Oasis shirt is a hip way to do check shirts – it feels more modern and less wintry lumberjack! If you’re also prints-phobic it’s a gentle way to dabble in a pattern. Picking up on the greys in the shirt add a finishing touch with this scarf. Natalie x

We simply cannot get enough of denim here on planet fashion. Double denim, denim dungarees, new jeans shapes, and the denim dresses. We saw the rise and rise of the denim dress last summer and if denim is your thing there are some really fabulous styles to choose from catering to everyone’s style. There’s long sleeved and belted at Jaeger, loose and laid-back at Violeta, or somewhere in-between with this soft A-line ladylike take from Zara. This is a great transitional piece that will work well with ankle boots and your must-have biker jacket to keep the chill factor at bay. Slip into espadrille wedges or flat gladiator sandals when the sun comes out to play. Natalie x
