Blend day-to-night accessories with a show-stopping dress for multi-outfit choices. Don’t think that just because it’s lace and red it’s solely an evening piece. The heavier structured lace and more demure style means you can switch around your accessories for an ultra-chic day or holiday look. Portofino anyone?! Tan or a neutral sandy shade gives a great summery feel to red. Go for a top-to-toe tonal look with a mix of textures. Vamp it up by night. Play with textures again and added embellishment. Natalie x

Dare I say it but if the daffodils are anything to go by spring has sprung. Match nature’s mood with a dress-up, dress-down white broiderie anglaise dress. Style with trend inspired accessories like this mini structured satchel in a cool blue pastel and these silver striped espadrille sandals. For evening add a metallic sandal and a clutch bag in a wild hot colour like shocking pink or red. Take this piece on holiday with tan wedges or flat embellished sandals. The options are endless. Make it a frill with a spill when it comes to spring/summer dressing. It’s all about the one-shoulder dress with a bold ruffle detail, a perfect twist to take you from day-to-night, beach-to-bar. This seersucker style from J.Crew also comes in a sugary pink. Channel some of that retro style with a platform sandal and oversized sunnies. Step it down with metallic flat sandals or espadrilles and a pom-pom embellished straw tote. Natalie x

There are a lot of great floaty summer-to-beach dresses and cover-ups in cool crisp whites with folksy embroidered details. The high street has done some great takes on a designer trend that has swept social media by storm. This dress from H&M will work a city summer look or a chic beach look perfectly well. I like the mix of casual pieces with glitzier evening elements, like styling these Anton Heunis earrings with this kaftan dress or a pair of arena sand a t-shirt for an unexpected style twist. Summer brights are just itching to make an appearance in our wardrobes. This season sees a big vibrant colour clash with rules of its own. One way to translate this trend is to start with a hot hued maxi dress and add an accessory – no matter how big or small – in an equally vivid clashing shade. This mood lends itself perfectly to those hot balmy days spent in exotic beach locations. Switch it all over for a chic occasion or evening look with a change of accessories. Natalie x

Crisp linens, cool blues, splashes of animal print, glimmers of gold…thinking ahead to summer dressing and this is a winning fashion formula. This dress would work just as well with a dose of vibrant hued accessories – if that’s your thing. Any spring/summer events that involve gardens, lawns, polo fields or river banks could do with a stylish wedge as opposed to a slinky stiletto heeled sandal. Slip into a jewelled flat sandal or on-trend slide, grab a canvas tote, add oversized sunglasses and you’re holiday ready. Natalie x

I can’t tell you the amount of times during those hot (rare I know) high summer month(s) that I get asked “where can I get a nice pair of decent go-with-anything leather wedge sandals?” And more often than not whilst I can steer you in the right direction said wedges are either sold out or available in every colour under the sun…but a good go-with-anything shade. Which is why when I saw these shoes on Zara’s site yesterday I decided to publish this blog today in sub zero temperatures. These are the wedges that will do everything you want them to do for your summer and holiday wardrobes, and they are 100% leather. Style with shorts, bright coloured cropped trousers, flared denim, maxi dresses in summer prints, crisp white cotton dresses, little black dresses…you name it. Personally when I shop I tend to shop for pieces I am going to wear right now…which is why I know I’ll be sighing with regret come high summer when I’m looking for that perfect leather wedge … Natalie x
