Layer up in khaki with this light weight parka jacket which will double up as the perfect travel companion. When it comes to jeans it’s all about the high waist this season. This rise gives a sculpted effect to a roomier fit boyfriend or straight leg jean, whilst really vamping up the shape-boosting effect of jeans. Wear with a loose fit t-shirt draped in at the waist. Beat the is-it-isn’t-it sunshine situation with this print ruffle trim jacket from Topshop. It’s great for a casual look pick me-up and the ideal way to add that extra something special to a slinky evening slip dress or a tailored occasion shift. Natalie x

We’ve been on a boots buying frenzy in the office. Little black ankle boots to be precise. From Topshop to Isabel Marant we’ve just about got all of our respective style angles covered. This Claude Pierlot pair has a chic scalloped edge for a different take on a classic Chelsea style. Jeans’ lengths seem to be hovering around the ankle and with a straighter cut it means these styles will sit perfectly just above an ankle boot. Next on the hit list will no doubt be a scarf. Something bold and bright to introduce a new season mood. Look for a colour (if it is not a natural grey or black) that will work it’s way through your wardrobe and your favourite shades from week-to-weekend. Natalie x

Basically this is just a jeans and sweat top look …but those little added extras colour it all in and add a fun dimension to it, taking your outfit from weekend basic to weekend chic. Let’s start with the top. Slogans are still going strong and if this cotton style from Boden greets you and everyone you meet with a “hello lovely” every time you wear it, what’s not to love? Onto the shoes. Adding a bright colour or one of your favourite prints gives a pinch of stylish spice to jeans outfits. What’s more, you get to really show off these heels thanks to the roll-up hem on the jeans. Try the same with a pair of flats if heels for a weekend-lunch look is not your thing. Style with a leopard print trainer or ballerina, or opt for a hot hue. See what a difference it makes? A chunky gold charm bracelet adds that finishing touch and you might like this one from Tommy Hilfiger (50) or this cute Kate Spade bracelet (now £35). Natalie x

I love this jumper. It’s from the latest instalment by Inès de la Fressange for Uniqlo and it channels that iconic Coco Chanel Deauville style not to mention the cricket pitch. You could go for a stay at home cosy comfy look, but why not dress it up with a killer heel and a day-to-night clutch instead? Natalie x

2015-04-08-2looks-RTJust add heels and go. Well almost. Turn a casual jeans look into a chic “I just thew this together” outfit with a few fashion friendly additions. A breton stripe top is a definite capsule wardrobe must-have – not just for summer. I think it’s hard to beat Boden’s offering which they repeat throughout the year. But the rest of the high street does a great job and you will find some good designer pieces if that is your beat. I am all about a leopard print heel. Another wardrobe must-have in my mind. Even if you are wearing a basic grey t-shirt with a pair of slouchy jeans whip these beauties on and you have that instant glamour by day. The slim fit boyfriend jean is the new boyfriend on the block. I know, its hard to keep up…and like the old boyfriends (jeans) these look fabulous with a pointy court heel. Add a burst of red with your sunnies and lipstick for that final added polish. Which way will you go? Natalie x

As we start to think of next season – yes, believe it or not – we turn to pattern and prints and more pattern and prints. The 70’s trend still prevails but with much more of a bohemian feel to it and over at the likes of Gucci and Prada there is an eclectic granny style class of patterns and textures. Ease yourself into this mood right now with a gentle clashing of prints styled with your must-have figure flattering jeans. White undertones keep this look summer fresh. Natalie x
