new-brandL’Wren Scott is no stranger to the red-carpet. On and off it. You may have seen her towering over her rock star boyfriend Mick Jagger; you may also have seen her fashion collections gracing the backs of some of Hollywood’s finest like Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Sarah Jessica Parker. She used to style those red-carpet celebs before turning her hand to designing her über-cool ladylike pieces with a vampy but elegant L’Wren Scott twist. And now clever Banana Republic has enticed her to design a collection just for them – meaning you can get that red-carpet designer glamour at high street prices. The clothing and accessories range officially launches on the 6th December, but a few lust-have bags and scarves have already started trickling in online and are now available here at Dressipi. I have to wonder if the vibrant lip print is not only a reference to the ‘playful print’ trend of the season, but also to the most famous lips in the world….namely Mick Jagger? Just wondering. To meet the Dressipi team for lunch meant a transition outfit; incase the slightly grey clouds decided to open up. But I was still feeling a little summery and decided a lightweight skirt from Mango was the best way to pay homage to the fab summer we had. I picked up this coat from Topshop a great bargain at £50 from £150! I love how its practical but also adds an English country twist to an outfit. And I never go anywhere in a skirt without something to cinch my waist, this Alexander McQueen belt does the job perfectly and has been a glued to my waist ever since I got it, I may not be able to go head to toe designer but a few touches here and there are great for lifting an outfit and fashion spirits.  SarahAx

We’ve given a new season spin to Sarah’s stylish look with these must-have pieces from Dressipi:

1. Coast midi-skirt £125:– Coast has hit on to a bit of a winner with this bestseller. A gorgeous waist-cinching skirt that flutes out is a fabulous way to channel the 1940’s trend if you’re not going for that pencil-skirt wiggle look. This piece can be styled up with an evening blouse, or down with a simple t-shirt and leather biker jacket:

2. River Island belt £20 – Belts can either be a wardrobe basic (think black or brown) or use them to introduce a trend or a touch of pattern to your outfits. Leopard print is perfectly timeless and on-trend (think Gorgeous Grunge and 194o’s) all in one. This piece will weave a bit of stylish magic into your outfits:

3. Zara blouse £59.99:– As mentioned pair your skirt with a simple t-shirt or add a fluid silky touch with this Zara must-have:

4. Michael Michael Kors £190: – A full skirt needs a little lift…these chic ankle boots will do just that:

5. Zara bag £19.99:– There are so many beautiful timeless totes and shoulders bag out there and you really do not have to spend too much:

6. Topshop trench £79:– Throw this slouchy trench over your shoulders to complete your look:

Speaking of cosy knits there is nothing better than an animal print to perk up the most basic of jumpers. We love this luxe deluxe Equipment number but M&S’s high street offering gives just enough haute at high street prices.
