Trust Zara to rustle up a perfect in-between season cover up. This chic ruffle trim bouclé jacket is an upgrade from the more classic (almost Chanel) style which you will also find in-store now. A bold colour adds that extra fashion layer to your favourite denim look. Say it with a tee in the shape of this embroidered style from t-shirt queen Zoe Karssen. Add a vampy Rockstud heels and shades and you’re good to go. Natalie x

Just because we got all excited about velvet last season doesn’t mean to say you have to kiss goodbye to one of our favourite fabrics now that the new trends are rolling in. Whilst it’s the ideal mood for evening glamour, a little basic grey t-shirt here plus a run-around flat there and you’ve reworked last season into a this season ultra-chic daytime look. Tuxedo jackets are going to start reappearing faster than you can blink – which is a good thing because this wardrobe investment is a great day-to-night and night-to-day fashion piece. Miss Selfridge has given a fabulous floral brocade spin to theirs whitewall work a dream with a pair of jeans as well as your little black dresses. Natalie x

I was going to call these two looks plain and simple. But a ruffle here and a stud there and I thought that would not be quite right. Every day dressing can be inspiring. If you want to bust yourselves out of the leggings and into something a bit more put together here is a chic and sleek take on ow to style a leather pencil skirt. You can just as easily switch the leather for lace or jersey … you name it. Natalie x

Remember when these were fun things you wore as a kid to the beach?! In fashion’s laid back but luxe mood this season the espadrille has undergone a number of designer guises making these as suitable for sandy shores as they are for a weekend lunch. Think everything from iconic lace and signature studs at Valentino, to cool leather loafer styles at Balenciaga and we even have a trainer-cross-espadrille at Stella McCartney. Today we’ll add a touch of timeless leopard print to our wardrobes with these snappy must-haves. Which way will you go…? Natalie x

prfwWhen it comes to Paris Fashion Week, quite frankly the big designers and brands are self-contained shows, trends and seasons all on their own. It’s all or nothing. Autumn/Winter 2014 has been a strong, opulent, exciting season and the end of Paris sent it off with a sparkling bang – quite literally when it came to the new must-have silver glitter boots and flats of the season from Hedi Slimane’s overall lust-have Saint Laurent collection. Nicolas Ghesquière’s first show for Louis Vuitton got the fashion world all in a flutter with its sharp, fresh 60’s style. It’s utterly impossible not to pass out at the exquisite craftsmanship at Valentino and Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gave us a fantastical collection of indulgent masterpieces. So, you see, when it comes to Paris Fashion week it’s all or nothing. This season it was “all’. Natalie x
